I'm fairly certain both of those stock coolers were Intel's, I had a prebuilts with the lopsided one on an Intel pc (I think it was like a i5 4570 or something)

I wonder (judging by how fast technology moves) don't we technically lose the race as soon as we buy new hardware? 🤔

At the moment i'm rebuilding my crappy PC build for a non-crappy one, It's going to be a Be Quiet! Dark Base 900 Pro V2. (reverse ATX build)

Damn. If I had known this was happening I would have submitted my grandpa's pc. It's an Acer prebuilt from 2009, which he hasn't upgraded or even cleaned the dust out of since he got it. I think the spec was a 1st gen i5, 4gb ddr3 ram an some cheap-ass oem only Nvidia GPU that wasn't even part of the gt line, let alone gtx...

We need a whole video for that cardboard build. We need the lore behind it.

Craziest built I've seen in person is a friend of mine had his pc screwed and glued to a pizza box and the pizza box and components screwed to the wall about eye level . Lol

Now that i have my own first pc build, i wanna see how bitwit thinks of my poorly cable managed pc. I'll just send it in discord.

funnily enough i did use your build guide video and ended up bricking my motherboard, albeit through no fault of your own

Damn you’re looking good Bitwit. You’ve lost quite a bit of weight in the last year. Hope you’re doing well bro!

I tried signalrgb, it required me to have everything controlled by my motherboard which then taught for control with signalrgb, hated it

I wish I had more pictures of my first build but it was a mess and it used 2 rx 560s in crossfire (which was worse performance than if I just ran the one)

Hmm, problems with SignalRGB, heavy system resource usage, including heavy ram usage, and causes stuttering of the mouse and scrolling in apps. Needs to be fine tuned, and to stop setting itself to high priority. Trying this in music visualization mode. Nice idea, but needs better implementation.

I had to check btw. The Arctic freezer 7 has been around since I worked at fry's over a decade ago, but they went directly from that to a freezer 13, 34, and then 50. I looked it up and the freezer 13 came out right around when I stopped working there, it seems. That ketchup and mustard disaster looks just like most of the rigs I had to deal with back then lmao

you should build a pc with ballistix max rgb ram, it looks real nice

lmao that pre built HP was my first gaming PC a few years back. Surprise, surprise, it died on me due to lack of airflow.

It kinda looks to me like the cardboard build is a Raspberry Pi cluster. The cables make it hard to see though.
